- We are a PG-13 site, so let's all respect that.
- Respect all members and staff. You've got to give respect to earn it.
- Staff has final say so in any and all matters.
- You can create as many characters as you'd like. However, we ask that you keep them all active, and for every two mares, you must create a stallion.
- Our minimum word limit is 300. It's not really that hard.
- We ask that you also create posts that are equal the other person's. For example, if someone writes a 700 word post, you need to reply with at least a 500 word response. It's only fair, and it helps let the role-player know they did a good job. If you can't respond with an equally or almost equally long post, don't reply.
- If you have a problem with a member, take it up with staff and we'll handle the situation.
- We do not allow "perfect" characters here. Every living things has a flaw, and your characters are no different.
- Characters may have two abilities. One elemental, and one other. If you need to look at the list of abilities, you can find that here.
- Must follow the laws of the land in which they are living or visiting.
- Can be traded, and mare has no say in trade.
- Can leave lands as long as her superior knows of her whereabouts.
- Cannot be claimed if she already has a leader.
- Can fight for her freedom or her foal's freedom.
- Can fight for a higher ranking in the herd.
- Can steal foals from other mares.
- Has first choice to name and play foal.
- Cannot abandon her foal on purpose.
- Can punish her own foal however she sees fit.
- Cannot own lands.
- Can sneak away for her freedom, or her foals freedom.
- Must answer to the God/Goddess that watches over their living area.
- Can claim land.
- Can forceclaim/forebreed mares. A member of staff must declare this valid or invalid, unless both parties agree to the claim.
- Can punish mares and foals however they see fit.
- Can trade mares and foals, and neither have a say in the trade.
- Can fight for land, mares, etc.
- Can steal from other stallions. [More information under STEALING category.]
- Have absolute say.
- Cannot stop a mare from fighting current lead mare for the position.
- Cannot intentionally kill his harem, unless both parties agree to the death.
- Can be challenged by mares and stallions.
- Must answer to the God/Goddess that watches over their area.
- Most gets first choice to play foals, and name them.
- Mother gets to decide gender, so long as genders don't outweigh one another.
- Mother gets to decide gender.
- Staff will choose foal's pelt color, mane and tail color, eye color, abilities, and height at adulthood. Also, if two different breeds of equine mate, staff will choose which breed is more prominent in foal.
- Foals must follow the lands of which they are living and visiting.
- Foals are considered grown at age 2 1/2.
- Since this is a fantasy role-play, foals can age as slowly and quickly as you would like. However, after three months real-time, foal is automatically grown.
- Twins are rare, so each breeding season, I will choose a random number, and that breeding will result in foals. For example, if I choose number seven, the seventh breeding for that season will result in twins. If there is no seventh breeding, no foals will be born that season.
- All twins will result in either a defect of one of the twins, death of one of the twins, ability loss of mother, or death of mother. Role-player gets to choose.
- All defects will be selected randomly by a staff member. How this works is, a member of staff will randomly choose five defects and write them down. Then, the role-player will choose a number between 1 and 5. Let's say the role-player chooses 3, and the third defect on the list is blindness. Well, one of the twins will be blind. Role-player gets to choose which. This is so things are kept on a sort of realistic base, as far as foals go.
- Foals can be stolen from their mothers. [More information in the STEALING category]
- Foals must answer to the God/Goddess that watches over the territory in which they live.
- Both mares and stallions may steal.
- All steals must be placed in riddle form, and each line must give a hint as to who is stealing whom or what.
- Stallions may steal land, mares, and foals.
- Mares may steal her foals freedom, her freedom, or another mare's foal.
- Stallions can block steals. However, they can only block their land, and two of their mares.
- All steals last for three days. If the role-player being stole from does not respond within three days, or he does not block his land, or correct mare, the thief gets whatever the steal was about.
- All steals must be declared valid/invalid by a member of staff.
- A character can only be stole from twice in one month. If someone tries to steal from that character a third time, it is automatically invalid.
- Fighting can take place at the battlegrounds, or on a stallion's land.
- All fighting is judged on a scale for realism.
40 points - Longevity of post. 40 points - Realism of post [ie; dodges, hits, etc. etc.] 20 points - Correct Grammar
- Mares can fight for her freedom or her foal's freedom.
- Mares can fight other mares for a higher ranking in the herd.
- Mares can fight other mares for their foal.
- Stallions can fight for land, mares, foals, etc. etc.
- Each character can only be fought or fight twice a month. This means that if a character is fought a third time, it is automatically invalid, and if a character tries to fight his/her third time, it is automatically invalid.
- All fights must have at least five posts a piece from each party in order to be considered a fight.
- All fights will be declared valid/invalid by a member of staff.
